Terms
Last updated: March 17, 2026. These terms describe the basic rules for using Coding Pathway.
Using the service
Coding Pathway is designed for coding education, including school-managed classroom use, teacher planning, and student learning workflows.
Coding Pathway is operated by Christopher Hopkinson, trading as Coding Pathway.
Accounts and access
- Users must sign in with a supported account and keep their own access details secure.
- Accounts must not be shared between users.
- Access to teacher, student, and admin areas depends on platform role and school permissions.
- We may remove or restrict access if an account is used in a way that is unsafe or breaks these terms.
Acceptable use
- Students and staff must use the platform for school-appropriate, lawful, and non-harmful purposes.
- Users must not try to bypass permissions, disrupt the service, or access data they should not see.
- Users must not upload or create content that is abusive, unlawful, or clearly unrelated to education use.
Schools and safeguarding
Schools remain responsible for their internal safeguarding, behaviour, filtering, monitoring, and device-use policies. Schools should evaluate whether Coding Pathway fits their curriculum, privacy, and safeguarding requirements before rollout.
School-specific commercial, onboarding, and data protection terms may supplement these public terms.
Content and intellectual property
- The Coding Pathway service, design, curriculum structure, and platform materials remain our property.
- Schools and teachers remain responsible for the content they create or upload into their own workflows.
- Users may not copy, redistribute, or resell platform materials unless a school agreement allows it.
Copyright in the website, platform content, and related materials is claimed as © 2026 Coding Pathway.
Service availability and changes
- Features may evolve as the platform matures and improves.
- We may update, pause, or remove features where needed for service delivery, safety, or maintenance.
- We aim for a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability at all times.
Ending use of the service
- Users can stop using the service at any time.
- Signed-in users can request account deletion through the account page in the current service.
- We may suspend or end access where these terms are broken or where use creates safety or security risks.
