Targeted trophy goals, for the exact steps you want worked

Trophy goals can now target specific units and steps. Set a recap after a holiday, warm a class up before a new topic, or reissue work as targeted homework. Pupils who already finished the steps redo them fresh and earn again, with nothing they achieved before put at risk.

Reset a unit for another attempt, and keep the trophies

Teachers can now reset a pupil's or a whole class's progress on a single unit, ready for a fresh attempt. Year rollovers or reteaching a topic; keep the trophies pupils already earned or reset them.

Teach it live, on every student's screen

Go live in a lesson and model code straight onto every student's screen in real time. They follow along read-only, you can leave questions right in the code, and when ready they can copy it into their own workspaces and complete work.

File handling is now part of the core course

The core course now includes file-handling tasks. Students read from files and, more importantly, write to them, and each task is auto-marked on the file the student produces, not just on what they print.
